| How does The RetailPassport work? |
|
| RetailPassport allows anybody to set up their own skills and qualifications passport on-line to help them keep a record of all of the training and skills they acquire throughout their career. Each passport becomes more valuable as it becomes verified by employers or other organisations that are registered as RetailPassport Verifiers. |

| How much will it cost me? |
|
| RetailPassport charges a nominal £10 per year for hosting your passport. This allows you to update your passport with as many additional skills or qualifications, or to change your employer's details, at no extra cost.

| How can I pay? |
|
| When you apply for your RetailPassport membership you will be required to submit credit card details against which your RetailPassport fees will be charged.
|
| How can I get my Passport verified? |
|
| You can get your passport verified by taking the certificates or documentation supporting your skill or qualification to your employer or another Registered Verifier.
|
| How can I find out if my employer is a registered verifier?
|
|
| Log into www.retailpassport.co.uk and go to your account page and click on "My Passport". You will see a link to "Registered Verifiers". Click on the link and you can search for your employer. If your employer is not listed you can introduce them to RetailPassport and receive credits on your own PurplePassport account.

| How can I get my employer to become a Registered Verifier?
|

| Simply alert your immediate manager or HR manager to RetailPassport.com and ask them to register. The cost is minimal and registration will benefit them as an employer.

| How can I get my passport verified if my employer is not a registered verifier or I am not currently employed?
|
|
| If either your employer is not a registered verifier or you are not currently employed you can still get your passport verified by any number of other registered verifiers such as your local job centre, most colleges and universities. To find out where you can get your passport verified closest to you, simply click here

| What is a "Registered Verifier"?
|
|
| A registered verifier is any organisation who has successfully applied to become a RetailPassport verifier. As a registered verifier you can verify details on any members passport and submit applications on behalf of new members. If you have large numbers of members you wish to add, we will assist you by importing member details from other third party applications. |
| Who can apply to become a "Registered Verifier"
|
|
| Any legally registered organisation can apply to become a registered verifier. Employers, educational establishments, recruitment agencies, job centres are typically registered verifiers.

| Are Registered Verifiers graded?
|
|
| Yes. Registered verifiers are automatically graded according to certain criteria such as length of time in operation, number of employees and tangible commitment to training and personnel development. We grade verifiers to provide other organisations viewing member's passports with an objective assessment and therefore the validity and credibility of any particular skill or qualification.

| Who can set up a RetailPassport?
|
|
| A RetailPassport can can be set up by either an individual, or an employer, or an organisation who is a registered verifier.

| How can I get my photo on my RetailPassport?
|
|
| Your RetailPassport cannot be verified and your RetailPassport ID card cannot be sent to you until we have received a photo of you. There are three ways you can provide us with your photo. In most cases an applicant will attach their photo to their application as part of the application process. However, you can also send a photo by email to photo@purplepassport.com or you can send a photo along with your written application directly to PurplePassport Ltd.

| What is "My Goals"?
|
|
| Every member has a 'My Goals' function which is accessible from their 'My Passport' page. My Goals allows you to setup a personal development plan by setting out your goals and then breaking them down into manageable milestones. RetailPassport will then assist you by emailing or texting reminders to prompt you to take the appropriate action at the right time to ensure that you stay on track to achieve your personal targets.

| As an employer and a registered verifier, can I view the records of the members in my employment?
|

| Yes. Providing each member has registered you as one of their employers.
|
